How Blinkit ads work, briefly
Blinkit sells sponsored placements through its ads platform, which brands reach from their Blinkit account. The main format for most brands is the search ad: your product appears in the search results for a keyword, marked as an ad, among the organic listings. You choose keywords, products, cities, budget and bids.
Three things decide whether an ad sells:
- Where it lands. Shoppers buy from the first scroll. A sponsored slot further down costs money and sells little.
- Whether you were already there. If your product already ranks well organically for that keyword, an ad above it often buys a sale you would have had anyway.
- Whether you are in stock. Each dark store has its own stock. No stock, no sale.

What Netr does on Blinkit
- Builds or restructures campaigns across keywords, SKUs and cities.
- Picks the SKU that fits each keyword's search results, not just the best seller.
- Checks bids throughout the day against your first-scroll rules, counting your organic rank too.
- Turns ads off in the hours that don't sell.
- Cuts spend where you already rank on your own.
- Sends a daily WhatsApp brief on what moved.

Blinkit ads cost and ROAS
Blinkit ad cost is set by competition, so there is no list price. Generic category keywords are usually contested. Your own brand name usually is not, but competitors may bid on it. We scope budget with you on a call.
ROAS on its own can mislead. The platform credits an ad with sales from shoppers who clicked it, including shoppers who would have bought your organic listing. So we look at total sales and ROAS together, keyword by keyword and city by city.
Why the data comes first
Our ads run on the same shelf data as Digital Shelf: search results for every keyword by rank, organic and sponsored apart, availability by dark store, and prices. That is how we know where an ad is earning its place and where it is not. See Blinkit data for what we track.
Tiers
Blinkit ads are available on their own as Single platform, or as part of Full agency, which adds Instamart, Zepto, and Meta and Google ads that open the product page inside the QComm app. See Managed Ads.
