Your own data, from Instamart
Instamart gives brands their own numbers through its brand portal and ads platform: sales, inventory and ad performance, with reports. This is exact. It shows only your brand.
Market data, from the public shelf
Shoppers see search results, stock and prices for their nearest store. Tracking that every day across cities and stores gives the market view:
- Search rank for each keyword, organic and sponsored apart.
- Availability by SKU and store, with out-of-stock separated from not listed.
- Prices and discounts against competitors.
- Estimated sales by product, brand and category, which gives market share.
Market sales are estimates, reliable as shares and trends.
Why Instamart needs its own read
Instamart is not a copy of Blinkit or Zepto. Assortment, ranking and advertisers differ. A brand can do well on one platform and be hard to find on another, so read each platform on its own before comparing. See Blinkit vs Instamart vs Zepto.
Questions Instamart data answers
- Where are we out of stock, and in which stores?
- Which keywords do we hold on the first scroll?
- Which competitors pay for visibility on our keywords?
- Is our share rising or falling, by city?
Where to get it
Netr's Instamart data, part of Digital Shelf, tracks the Instamart shelf for your SKUs, competitors, keywords and cities every morning. Connecting your account adds exact sales and inventory. To have us run Instamart campaigns on that data, see Instamart ads. For Zepto, read the Zepto data guide.
