Start with where the shopper is
Blinkit serves each order from a dark store close to the shopper. Every store has its own stock and its own search results. "Not showing on Blinkit" is almost always "not showing in some stores". Ask which city and area first.
The common causes
1. Out of stock in that store
The store carries your product but has run out. The shopper can't buy it there, and it may drop out of the results. This is the most common cause and the easiest to miss, because you can be in stock in most stores and out in the busiest ones.
2. Not listed in that store
The store has never carried the SKU. No amount of stock elsewhere helps. This is a distribution question for your Blinkit account team and your supply plan.
3. Ranked below the first scroll
The product is there, but too far down for shoppers to see without scrolling. On a generic keyword with many competitors, that is the same as invisible to most shoppers. See how to rank higher on Blinkit search.
4. The listing doesn't match the search
If the title, images or category don't match what shoppers type, the product may not come up for that keyword. Check the title includes the words shoppers use: product type, key variant, pack size.
5. Listing or account issues
A product can be hidden for catalogue reasons such as missing information or a pending change. Your Blinkit seller portal or account manager can confirm this.
How to check, in order
- Pick the city and keyword where it is missing.
- Check stock in the dark stores serving that area.
- Check whether those stores list the SKU at all.
- Check your rank for the keyword there, organic and sponsored.
- Check the listing text against the keyword.
Doing this by hand for many SKUs and cities is slow. Digital Shelf shows availability, listing gaps and rank by dark store every morning. For background on availability, read what is on-shelf availability in QComm, and for what we track on Blinkit see Blinkit data.
