How Instamart ads work
Swiggy Instamart sells sponsored placements through its ads platform. For most brands the core format is the search ad: your product shows in the results for a keyword, marked as an ad. You set keywords, products, cities, budget and bids.
The same rules apply as on any QComm platform. An ad has to land where shoppers look, on the first scroll. It earns little if your product already holds that spot organically. And it can't sell in a store where you are out of stock.
What Netr does on Instamart
- Builds or restructures campaigns across keywords, SKUs and cities.
- Matches each keyword to the SKU that fits its search results.
- Checks bids throughout the day against your first-scroll rules, counting your organic rank.
- Turns ads off in hours that don't sell.
- Cuts spend where you already rank on your own.
- Sends a daily WhatsApp brief.
All of it happens inside your own Instamart ad account.
Why Instamart needs its own plan
Instamart's competitors, assortment and search results are not the same as Blinkit's. A keyword that is cheap and winnable on one platform can be crowded on another. We plan Instamart from Instamart's own shelf, using the data in Instamart data, rather than copying a Blinkit plan across.
Cost and ROAS
Instamart ad cost depends on competition by keyword and city, so there is no list price. We judge results on total sales and ROAS together, because platform ROAS also counts sales your organic listing would have made anyway.
Tiers
Run Instamart alone as Single platform, or as part of Full agency with Blinkit ads, Zepto ads, and Meta and Google ads that open the product page inside the app. See Managed Ads.
